So, we have a new success to share!
I called Target customer service yesterday only to hear that there was really nothing they could do. They filed our complaint, but had nothing to guarantee we would have a better experience.
So, we decided to bring our business and the business of 120 invited guests somewhere else.
Enter, Bed, Bath, & Beyond. The minute we walked in the door, we were treated like gold. Our coats taken, water offered, apologies for the 2.5 minute delay, walks around the store, explanations of registering, and my Bond-wanna-be fiance given full reign to use the scanner to his heart's content.
We found things at better quality, fair prices, and personalized service with a bubbly, helpful sales associate ready to make us happy. We walked away exhausted from all the work, but satisfied at the success. We may still register somewhere else - Kohl's, Crate & Barrel, or something similar, but we are happy to have the majority of items registered for.
So, I've made a 180 and am no longer crabby at the registering experience! I was happy to find someone more than willing to make me feel special and wanted! At least, someone in addition to the fiance that already makes me feel that way!
